I have been going here with my children, class field trips and now grandchildren. It is a peaceful, lovely place owned by the Aurora Park District. In a parklike setting with a pond, you will see ducks and geese nesting and nurturing their young if you go in spring and early summer while you ride the small scale train around... More

During the summer we attended the "Uncorked" concerts, which is adults only. It is similar to going to Ravinia, but with a lot less hassle. Their zoo and historical exhibits are educational and interactive. They also have a weekend where a civil war reenactment takes place including a battle with authentic weapons and cannons.

So much fun. Perfect, beautifully landscaped. Upkeep is meticulous and clean. Friendly staff. Big enough for the day but small where it is quaint. Love the train ride and the merry go round. Just a lovely day. Been there several times as we have lived nearby for many years. We will continue to visit.

This is such a great place to spend the day with family. There are picnic groves a plenty. You can pack a lunch or enjoy some inexpensive food at the summer kitchen. They have the usual, hot dogs, burgers, chicken fingers. The rides are so cute and kid friendly. There is a train ride, tractor ride, pony ride, carousel ride... More

Great way to spend a day. Great parking and very affordable entrance fee. For the smaller visitors there are pony rides, a small scale train ride, a tractor pulled hay wagon ride and paddle boats. There are live demos throughout the day featuring pottery, yarn, and blacksmiths. There are a few live animals also in the park. A large playground... More

Beautiful park with many difference attractions- historical areas, rides, a lovely lake to use a paddle boat on or walk around, a sweet school house, pioneer home and farm (with animals). Actually had my wedding (ceremony and reception) at Blackberry farm and it was the best choice my now husband and I could have made. The cost was the lowest... More

We have been there each year for the past three years and it is such a treat! My two boys (ages 2 and 4 could ride the train all day!) Lots to do; pony ride, carousel, train, tractor hay ride, paddle boats, big activity park, farm, tricycle area, sensory table and houses where you can learn about a blacksmith, pottery,... More

We would bring the children here when they were younger. This year we enjoy their Concert series in the park on Thursday nights. What a great addition! Looking forward to next year.
