I grew up 10 blocks from here, and so we frequented this free park. It's a good sized park. They have their own greenhouse that supplies the flowers that are in the courtyard. It's a great spot to take pictures, or relax. There's a train that takes you around the park in the warmer months. There's swing sets, bathrooms, water... More

This a free zoo in the city of Aurora. We went to the zoo while visiting my son at local university. While it certainly can't be confused for the Bronx Zoo. It was a great way to spend a couple hours. The zoo was very clean and organized. The animals seemed to be properly cared for. The zoo is located... More

We had heard about this zoo on the internet. It has animals, but is small for a zoo. But it is free. It also had a flower garden next to it that was nice.

For a hometown zoo, Phillips Park was very enjoyable. From the meticulously manicured and elegant sunken garden, and the educational Mastodon museum, to the owl, hawk variety, bobcat, otters playing, huge eagles, and the alligators in the reptile house, and more, my family, including my 6 year old grandson, enjoyed every minute of our visit. Maybe it was just luck,... More

It is a fun place to go with the kids on a nice day during the spring and summer. The kids really love it.

The zoo is not exactly a zoo but for the price of $0 you can't argue. Small so not worth a long trip to get to but if local more than an interesting diversion. Alligators, cougar, wolf, bald eagles and some really nicely landscaped grounds. Staff were friendly. Can probably complete the zoo in about 30 minutes though. It's free... More

There is so much to do. Hiking, picnicking, touring the zoo or visitors center, golfing, swimming, and much more. This park has gone through many changes through the years, but is better than ever. Clean and family friendly for everyone.

This a free zoo so you can't expect the world. It's a neat little park that is worth an hour of your time to see. The highlight is the reptile house that houses a couple of alligators several turtles and snakes. Other must sees include several different types of birds ,a mountain lion and some Elk .
