These gardens are highly popular with locals, most notable young couples that hardly have any means of expressing their affection. You'll find them strolling, secretly holding hands etc. It's nice and shady, and makes for a pleasant escape. Small entry fee.
Staying at the Sofitel - this is next door and a 5 min walk to the entrance. 100 DZD entry fee which was well worth it. You could spend all day here if you took a picnic, there are places to eat inside.
