What a nice place. A must-visit if you want to have a historic overview of Algiers. 4 stars because the prices have been highered by 1000% That's a shame.

It doesn't look like much from outside - but the interior is a dream. Typical moorish palaces each build around a patio adorned with stone pillars vaulted and painted ceilings and countless hand painted tiles, wooden lattice work and what not. Think Shehrazade and 2001 nights! Be enchanted!

Restored palace of old rulers, very impressive decoration but very few information posters or boards. Coincided with Berber exhibition which made the visit more worthwhile.

I enjoy walking around this museum. The guide were friendly but they really did not have much to talk about the place. The coolest part of the tour was the doll customs exhibition

old palace, but, basically, it's just a lot of empty rooms. No guides waiting to explain it. A few info boards here and there. But a prime example of tourism in Algeria - little effort made, and a chance missed

There are a few different buildings With a beautiful view of the sea. There are lots of gorgeous tiles everywhere, but that you can also see other Places but one can hardly find such a great view as from this Place!
