Awesome selection.... diverse styles... colors

The staff does want to make a sale but the quality, selection, styles available and the diversity of colors are quite something. Good experience.

We stopped here in October 2016. My sister and I both purchased rugs after looking at several -- with very patient salesmen. They explained the different types of rugs and their history. Purchase was done easily with a credit card. We were given tips about care and wear. My rug arrived within a week, along with a description of the... More

We got an incredibly beautiful, unique handmade rug (we did not see one like it anywhere in Morocco - I suspect if you see a rug similar to the ones sold here - the quality is different). The sales experience was fun, we could have negotiated harder but time was dear and we wanted to continue our vacation (and driving... More

It was the first carpet store we visited in Morocco, but we thought the price was too high and didn't buy a thing. After we visited Other cities we couldn't fine rugs as nice as this one. And we felt regretful we didn't buy one there.

Came here on a Gate1 tour. Enjoyed the show, then looked around before deciding what I might want, a 3x5 or so vivid blue rug. They showed me a few, and I found a gorgeous one for $1600. We bargained a bit, then he said $700 was as low as he could go. I politely thanked him, and turned around... More

Overall experience of this co-op carpet place is very good. From what I heard through our tour guide, the place seem quite legit. The prices were really high at first, even though you would expect a government funded carpet house wouldn't require haggling (that's a misconception). Yes you still need to haggle, and I suggest cutting the price down to... More

Got an orange labeled Moroccan carpet that started at 700 dirhams with the negotiator initially offered to the women in my tour group he bounced off from their needs. Then out of nowhere their boss came and announced through our tour guide it is now 450 dirhams. I really wanted the blue one after some bought their carpet and the... More

When I was planning our trip to Morocco, one of the items I knew I was going to purchase was a carpet. Since we own an oriental rug and a Persian rug that we purchased in Manhattan, we had a good idea as to what we would consider a very good deal in Morocco. During our visit to Fes, we... More
