We have been very disappointed by this venue! We booked dinner & show. The venue itself looks really beautiful and that's all. When we where brought there we have been rushed through with any explanation what the whole setting was meant to be. I think rushing everything and everybody is their pov. Only 2 of the menus were available instead... More

We were somewhat hesitant whether or not we wanted to go, given that we are no fans of touristy shows. Plus, the location was somewhat outside the city. When we arrived, however, I positively impressed by the grounds. We were initially seated indoors, in one of the many rooms lining the arena and offered something to drink (beer, wine, soft... More

I was pleasantly surprised for my Birthday treat by my colleagues recently! It was a 15-20 minutes drive from the Main city of Marrakesh! I was hoping, it better be something nice...what i saw made me still and mesmerized...Chef Ali is a family run business i am told whose owner started this locale with a modest beginning. its like a... We went to the Chez Ali show for our last evening in Morocco. Our friendly driver picked us up promptly from our hotel. When you enter there are troupes singling and playing music as you walk to your assigned room. First, our family was seated for dinner. The soup, bread, and couscous were good, the lamb was ok as it... More

Been to the Chez Ali in 2014(with friends) and 2016 (with my family teens) Only if you have a spare evening consider doing the show, it is a mixed bag , it needs someone to be a bit more imaginative to make it into a memorable evening ie get help from Disney , we had a meal during my first... We booked this through our Thomson Rep and it cost about £44 a head . It is a mixture of a traditional Moroccan wedding feast in a setting from the fabled 1001 Arabian Nights recounted by Scheherazade to the king. There is a collection of opulent fabric permanent tents with tables , chairs and cushioned sofas that surround the central... More

The area in which Chez Ali is located is quite stunning, it has traditional architecture and is very large. We purchased the dinner and show. Dinner was good however we were frequently interrupted by bands / dancers that looked like they preferred to be somewhere else. The show had fleeting interesting moments (ie horse riding tricks) however there was no... More

Chez Ali Marrakech Tasty soup starter, succulent leg of lamb main with couscous (a shame they couldn't arrive at the table together) questionable dessert of a plate full of fruits (see picture) and interesting choice of dancing entertainment while having dinner (loud and pushy when it comes to tips) great finding out about the history of Morocco and Ali baba... It's like a small town. You sit in a tent and are entertained by musicians and dancers. Then you are served your food. I cannot promise you the same food, but we were served turkey and couscous with vegetables. Beverages are extra. After the meal is over you go outside and there is an open track where they do horse... More
