Chez Ali Marrakech Tasty soup starter, succulent leg of lamb main with couscous (a shame they couldn't arrive at the table together) questionable dessert of a plate full of fruits (see picture) and interesting choice of dancing entertainment while having dinner (loud and pushy when it comes to tips) great finding out about the history of Morocco and Ali baba... It's like a small town. You sit in a tent and are entertained by musicians and dancers. Then you are served your food. I cannot promise you the same food, but we were served turkey and couscous with vegetables. Beverages are extra. After the meal is over you go outside and there is an open track where they do horse... More

We were promised an extravagant evening. We were led to a decorated large pavilion tent. Three groups of musicians and dancers in costumes came in one after the other. It looked like the dancers were only interested in tip and gave a automatic show. Later on there was a show of horse back riding. The horses were rushed against a... More

All four of us had an excellent evening with great food, drink and entertainment. The rep we had from Thomson was fantastic and told us everything we needed to know before we arrived and also secured us with fantastic seats to watch the show. The food was well cooked and a lovely traditional Moroccan meal, the drinks are expensive but... More

Arrived around 8.30pm had a photo taken at the entrance which cost 30 dah check photo before walking around museum and then up a steep flight of stairs then back down nothing at the top so no point especially with young children or people who have difficulty in walking. We were shown to the table, the tables were big the... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere and fun of this place! The performers were Great and it was a nice change from 'just dinner'! I would recommend it for young and older alike. Just beware there are some very loud noises at the show.

I was looking forward to a great show however was hugely disappointed. I had gone for show the show only. The show lasted for just 45mins and barely had any belly dancing and the horse tricks were far and few. The show costs only 150 mad however if you don't have your own car, it is better to arrange from... More

On the outskirts of Marrakech this Moroccan theme park could be so much better! It is huge and as you walk to your restaurant you pass by the entertainers who are giving a sample of their singing/dancing. There must be about 10 large booths around a large performing space, each decorated like a tent. The meal is uninspiring and the... More

Whilst in Marrakech we were looking for a traditional Moroccan show and this ticked all the boxes. The professionalism and general feel of the night was amazing. We booked on trip advisor and were picked up from our hotel by a private taxi driver who waited at Chez Ali whilst the show was ongoing (only issue was he didn't speak... More

Just visited chez Ali. We booked from London before we went Marrakech for around £38 pp. The place is grand and surrounding is beautiful. You are welcomed with live warm music. We then went through a cave like museum. We then passed groups of dancers/ singers who invited in to join. Up up this point everything was very enjoyable. We... More
