I am glad my friends and I chose Sahara Desert Travel as our 4 day tour from Fes-Merzougha-Sahara Desert-to Marrakesh! Our tour guide Aly was a perfect balance for us 3 ladies, he is definitely a one of a kind Berber! He felt like a big brother who took care of us while showing us around. The transportation is comfortable and the highlight was the stay at the luxury camp at the Sahara desert! It was an amazing experience with the Berbers from the famous tea pouring to the plethora of food to the drumbeats and dancing at the campfire! I highly recommend this tour company. I would go back for round 2! Tanmert big bro Aly! Please have my dromadery Scoobydoo' and my sandboard ready upon my return to the sand dunes at The Sahara!

We were a small group of 3 ladies traveling through Morocco and we used Sahara Desert Tours for the 4 day Fes- Sahara- Marrakech portion of our trip. For the transportation, dinner, desert accommodations (desert camp and dinner), dromedary ride and the company of our prince of a host Aly, I’d say that we got the best deal in Morocco! I can’t wait to come back and I’d recommend this company to my own friends and family! Ten-mirt Aly!

My main contact initially was with Elena who was excellent and gracious in setting us up with our Sahara tour. She always provided prompt responses and patiently worked with us after our many changes to our itinerary. Elena was always willing to provide advice and suggestions of places we were visiting outside of the tour. Our driver was Aly who was always professional and trustworthy. Aly was also part of the highlight. What I appreciated the most from our driver and guide was his flexibility in allowing us to customize our tour and we were never made to feel as "walking dollars." Out of the many tours available in Morocco and the Sahara, I strongly recommend Sahara Desert Travel.

With so many tour companies to choose from, I landed on sahara desert travel because of the personal touch and level of customization we could put into our tour. I was unsure of how to plan our 3 day tour, and Elena was very supportive and offered great advice. In the end, our tour was a pick up in Fes, One night in the sahara, and a 2 day journey to Marrakesh. My advice, don't try and do this in fewer days. The distance, and the mountain roads make for long days on the road. Our vehicle was incredibly comfortable and we had complete faith and trust in our driver/guide M'barek, which helped us have a fun and no-stress adventure. In addition, I never felt like the stops we made were 'money grabs' like I saw in other tour company reviews. I highly recommend this company.

We spent one week travelling around the south of Marocco and we literally followed in love with the country and the people, our favourite places were the desert and Essaouira, a small city facing the ocean. Elena and Ydir, our driver, were always ready to provide any kind of support and suggestions. Few tips for travellers: 1)if you go to the desert try to do not buy anything in Marrakech( prices are almost double), 2)in Marrakech if you are staying at Médina ask the. Owner of the Riad to provide you a map, GPS doesn’t work properly and some people make business providing route indications. 3)the food is super good, many aircraft products are unique and the desert visit is something you can’t miss.
