This Berber Museum is an interesting stop at the start of the Ourika Valley. Just the walk up the hill between local houses is interesting. Our guide in the museum spoke good English and was multilingual. He was excellent and really enriched the experience as...More

Looking at the other reviews, I think there is some confusion about which museum this is. This Berber museum is out of town—you walk up a steep hill from the road, past some small village houses. We had a personal guide who explained the exhibits...More

Entry through the Jardin Majorelle. It was very crowded and not easy to study fully all the exhibits as they deserved. Well worth the effort!

Amazing museum attached to the Jardin and only about 80p to get in on top of the garden fee. Unfortunately no photographs allowed of the amazing Berber clothes, robes and head-ware, silverware, pottery and artefacts. Interestingly complex history of the geographically split ancient Berber tribes...More

There is definitely some confusion here about these two museums. I visited the Écomusée in Ourika, which is just off the road going to the Ourika Valley waterfall. This place is the original home of a tribal leader who united the three tribes living in...More

Could be more explanations about the berber customs, beliefs, traditions, medicine, etc.. Now you only have things exposed and there are no histories behind so I was a bit disappointed. Also its very small and crowded. Interior is perfect though.
