This was our second visit to the henna cafe. The henna is traditionally made with no additives unlike the black henna in the square. The food is tasty and homemade particularly the houmus and delicious range of Moroccan teas. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the elderly lady who does the henna is delightful. The money goes to... More

The Henna cafe is a very casual hang out. The henna is natural and there is a book of designs to choose from. The food and decor is basic but good. Lovely pineapple juice! I didn't see the tortoise but the other staff were lovely! It is a nice, calm place to get Henna compared to the square.

Although you can get henna in the square I would definitely recommend going to the henna cafe instead. The cafe uses organic, natural henna which really decreases the risk of developing a rash/reaction, unlike the darker henna used in the square. We found the staff spoke nearly perfect English which is really handy when choosing a design. The prices are... More

We went reasonably early in the morning which was just as well because as there was only one lady doing the henna tattoos, we still had to wait for a little while as there were a couple of people before us. There are several books with design choices and the price varies from 50 to over 200 dirhams. I knew... More

We went there to get some Henna done, however we found it to be very expensive like 15- 20 dollars for a hand. At the square we paid $1.50 per hand . We did not stay to try the food.

This was probably one of the best places for food we experienced in Morocco. Everything was vegetarian, fresh, yummy, and healthy. Also -- the henna work that was done here was absolutely beautiful, fast, attentive, detailed, and extremely reasonably priced (I got a very detailed henna for 20 euros). This was one of our favorite places we went in Marrakech.... More

Loved this place, came across it whilst wandering around, it's super relaxed and the food is great. My mum and I spent hours here just nibbling traditional, freshly made, locally sourced food, some of the best we ate in Morocco. The staff are really lovely and explain their menu and are more than happy to answer any questions. As well... More

I'm not a vegetarian person, but this food was just gorgeous!! We took few dishes to share but the avocado was incredible! Most of the plate are vegan or vegetarian (maybe all of them, I don't remember), but were delicious! Also, the drinks are incredible, the mojito (with no alcohol) and the smoothies!! You have to try! We were late... More

Gorgeous food (would recommend the Loubia, lentils, and zalouk) and lovely fresh juices. Lots of vegan and gluten free options if that's your kind of thing! Very friendly staff, incredibly cheap prices, and lovely tortoises to keep you company whilst you eat. Perfect spot for lunch- well worth navigating the winding streets for!

Found this on trip advisor and gave it a try, didn't expect much from the food as other reviews say not to, but it was really nice! Had henna done which was in my opinion a little over priced, however 5 days later it is still on and has barely faded - a lot better than getting it done in... More
