Visited this museum on our day trip to Tangier. Lots of very interesting art work and artifacts showing the history and development of the town. The gardens were particularly interesting not only for the flora but also the fauna in that there were tortoises roaming freely around.

Opening times online were incorrect so we were unable to see inside!! But its worth a walk around the area as you can see a nice sea view and lots of colourful, less tourist populated streets.

This wonderful Museum of Moroccan Art is located on beautiful grounds and is founded specifically in the prince’s apartments at the palace. These rooms are exquisite and decorated with sculpted plasterwork and Mosaics completed in colored marble and glass tile pieces. The prince’s apartments are finished off with beautiful wooden ceilings that have been painted. not to be missed, Superb!!

I was honestly surprised by the design of all furniture as well as ornaments in the museum. It was so beautiful that it is a must to visit when you are in Marrakech.

The Museum of Moroccan Arts and the Museum of Antiquities are both housed in the beautiful building, formerly the Sultans' Palace. Beautifully preserved and a wonderful history. If you're in Tangier, this is well worth the visit.

This interesting Museum is especially by the quality of the building that houses a former palace beautifully restored and in parallel with beautiful tiles, carved wooden ceilings and a exotic mosaic floor survivor of Volubilis and in good condition. Do not miss the beautiful Sultan's Garden, quiet and relaxing. The objects are also great especially focused on local history.
