Tanger plage is beautiful, when kept properly. During the years I've visited Tanger numeral times. I can tell you the quality of the beach is getting better. The boulevard is totally renewed. A great place to enjoy your day.

Very dirty beach with lots of trash and nothing else really. Definitelly not suitable for swimming even not for sitting on the beach. Close to one of the busiest streets of Tangier.

It didn't seem like the sort of beach to be swimming and sunbathing on but it was very clean and pleasant.

Whatever they throw at it, the main beach in Tanger has a natural beauty that remains. It's a wide, horseshoe beach with soft yellow sand, where the locals like to stroll, play football and bathe in the summer. Don't expect to don a bikini and...More

We rode camels along the high edge (cliff?) of the beach and could see the Mediterranean and the tranquil, sandy eslpalade below. It was nearly deserted, but we were informed that it would be wall-to-wall people soon, as the Eid was approaching. I felt fortunate...More

This is a good beach to have a walk by sunset. The people are very welcoming and helpful. You should select a hotel close to thus beach.

Hi there, I would like to know which beach in the area is the most recommendable? I am going in May with my friend and would like a nice beach where we can swim and sunbathe, maybe do some yoga and water sports, or maybe tae it a bit further and scuba diving or surf? Thank you

I would think the actual beach in Tangier is less used for these activities than around the corner on the Atlantic side; Casablanca and Rabat are more for this; I suggest Ain Diab in Casa.
