Short (+/- 1 hour) boat ride from Slipway Hotel on dhow like boat in average condition. Had life vests but only 1 motor but boatman said they were in cell phone range of pier office! Nice beach and average snorkeling but not spectacular - however...More

Gorgeous getaway. Thought there are barely amenities on the island so best to go with supplies. Best for a day trip. Be sure to swim In the warm emerald waters and sit on the white sands and watch the waves.

A nice island to be on as it helps to relieve stress and acquire a good air. But it’s only fun to be on when u got company and ur own drinks, music and activities to do.

Beach was a bit dirty due to the recent flooding and rains, however, the experience was amazing. Please remember to bring Shillings as activities do cost extra.

We stayed for only 1.5 hours been brought there by a boat (20 minutes cruise) and paid in total 20$ for 2 persons, boat driver was waiting for us. Had a nice swim 🏊‍♂️ tooked some pictures paid the island fee and went back. Highly...More

A spectacular get away for a day...pro trip bring your own supply to the island because things are a bit cheap...also the shared boat rental is around 10000 Shillings (around $5) for bargain purposes. ..

Hi Sumana, In case you want to go to Mbudya Islands you can visit Jangwani Sea breeze resort and they will organize your trip to Mbudya Island or else you can go to Slipway where you will find boats going to Mbudya Islands... More
