More than one reason to visit!

We enjoyed walking around the Sculpture Park, but also took the opportunity to do some birding at the same time.

We were so lucky to meet Roy Guthrie during our visit to the Park and to learn about the artists and his work to help the artists and the Art. The Park is quite extensive with a variety of work and great for presents, some Art Pieces are just incredible. Many stones are used to make the sculptures and some... More

At Chapungu there is a variety of gifts one can choose from and buy for your respected friends and guests. The place is well known for supplying well polished artefacts in Zimbabwe and abroad. The prices range from $5.00 to around $2 000.00 depending on individual tests.

An amazing and ever changing park full of statues. I cannot help buying something every time I visit. Inspiring.

The sculptures are mainly abstract, and although well carved it does not cater for all tastes. We eventually had to take our U K visitors over to the Enterprise Road by Newlands to find the carvings that they wanted to take back home. Nice guys who were very helpful but just a shame their selection is not more comprehensive.

While it is true that this Sculpture Park is undergoing economic difficulty, the artists and their amazing works are still there! It is so important that people continue to support them during these hard times. We saw amazing work from established artists like Nicholas, and newer artists like God Knows (23 years old). There are a variety of different stones... More

I don't know if I would call this an "attraction." Really, it is a nice place to spend some time checking out the sculptures and if the price is right, taking one home...as long as you can get it there. If you are flying, remember...these are STONE sculptures. (heavy and most are large) This area is tucked in behind the... More

I visited this place in September 2013 and found that it has the same kind of appeal and talent as 3 years ago. The artists are still there and they have a lot of pieces of high quality. The artists in the right hand side corner Nicholas Kazungura and Benjamin Takiyo are very famous artists and have very beautiful pieces... More

Visited 24 Jan. The sculpture park no longer has its own entrance - we went through Doon Estate before discovering the Chapungu sign in the drive-way BUT it is still well worth a visit! Please see pictures of sculptures that I have added as part of this review. The sculptors are still hard at work on-site. I asked about a... More
