I greatly enjoyed seeing both sides of the falls. I felt closer to the falls on the Zambia side. No need for a guide. If you want the best view, take a MICROLIGHT FLIGHT from ZAMBIA!!! Only available through Batoka Sky. Totally supercedes the helicopter...More

What a breathtaking experience. I think it costs around $30 for the entry fee, which I didn't think was unreasonable for such a beautiful park. We went by ourselves, sans tour guide, which I think is the way to go. The guides we saw were...More

We walked the Falls on the Zimbabwe side. It was well worth $30 per person and ending up totally soaked to view this wonder. We had our own ponchos with us, but decided to really experience the Falls and the mist. We saw people with...More

Falls are a treat from Mother Nature just be sure to have your wallet prepped. Take wet gear with you as last half of the walk at this time of the year is very damp.

Amazing views from the Zimbabwean side. Stunning nature! But park fees very expensive. And activities way over priced. Poor craftsmanship.

Visitors may be surprised to see how close they can get to the edge! And you will get soaked when you do. But, what a view!!

Been a dream since I was knee high to visit here. It has not disappointed, left soaking wet with the biggest of smiles

Was in the park on the Zimbabwe side. There about 13 viewing stations along a footpath. Magnificent views. Need a raincoat (neck to ankle) by the end of the walk or you will be soaking wet from the spray.

Lots of fun. Bring a poncho, or if you don't want to get your pants wet, wear the black rain coats the give you A nice two mile ealk. Very wet from the must at times. Don't miss the 1400 year old Balboa tree at...More

The rushing waters during high season are a powerful reminder of the force of nature and are a sight to behold. In high season, expect visibility in portions to be poor due to the amount of water and expect to get drenched. But there's no...More

Hi, we will be staying on the Zimbabwe side for two nights in April. Is it easy enough to explore the falls by yourself or is a tour recommended? We don't want to miss anything. How many hours does the average visit take? Thank you

Depending on which hotel you are in but we found it very easy to walk down and just follow the walk way around. You can spend as long as you feel you need - I think we spend about 2.5 hours then walked along the bridge... More

$30 USD for entry on the Zimbabwe side. Zaire is north of Zambia, which is the other country you are thinking of. I don't know the cost for that side. Likely similar.
