We were fortunate to experience the falls during the wet season. We did the falls solo without hiring a guide and didn't feel it was necessary. Cost is $30 USD per person to enter the park and you cannot leave and return in the same day without paying another entrance fee.

I visited both sides of the Falls this March and I must say I enjoyed the Zim side a bit more. You get to see a lot more of the falls without getting quite as soaking wet as the Zam side. Truly incredible views.

A must see both in the high water and low water seasons. We saw it at high water and the mist is so great you cannot see the bottom of the falls. Still magnificent. Walk all the way to the bridge to Zambia for full views. If you don't want to be drenched, stop at Livingstone Island. Warning: Very Very... More

The Victoria Falls are an absolute must do when visiting this area. We were staying close to Livingstone so started our experience from the Zambian side, but because we had the Kasa Visa or Uni Visa we could experience the falls from either side. We therefore started by leaving Zambia and heading over the magnificent Victoria Bridge before entering Zimbabwe.... More

Nice little park, be sure to rent a poncho so you don't get soaked! Nice little paths around to different viewing areas. Beautiful site, views will change with water levels, so plan accordingly!

The walking tour is spectacular and WET. YES you get the spray from the falls almost all the time but it is part of the experience..........and rain gear is provided. The views are breath taking, the terrain flat and an easy walk. This is a photographers dream!

This is one of Africa and the world's real treasures. Spend 3 to 5 days at victoria falls and experience some of the best in African nature and scenery. The locals are lovely. There are good accommodation options, it's not expensive at all (great value actually), it's accessible and safe. Amazing food and experiences to be had. Add it to... More

All I could say is WOW! Seeing the falls With my own eyes was like a dream come true.Visited the park during October. It was dry season then. There is more water on the Zimbabwean side than in Zambia.

The majesty of these falls is simply overwhelming. Grant that I haven't seen many large-scale falls before, but the views were breath-taking in March, when the water was very high.

Photo's do not do these falls justice. They are magnificent when in full flow, which is from March - May. Even with a poncho, you still get wet. So if you are travelling somewhere straight after visiting the falls, make sure you have a change of clothes, because otherwise you will be spending a long time in wet clothes.
