I have visited this church last week.One can visit this incredible church by one day combining Entoto Mariam Church.The church has long history and has many iconography but need arrangements. The panoramic view is incredible for Addis Ababa.

Beautiful church and calm surroundings on the outskirts of Addis Ababa. Theres also a nearby church carved into a rock. Worth a quick visit.

St. Raguel Ethiopian Orthodox Church was built in the 1880s by Emperor Menelik II. It has the classic hexagonal shaped architecture of many Ethiopian Orthodox churches. Inside you will find beautiful paintings which are centuries old.
