Driving past Accra Central Mosque on Monday 27/11/17 with my tour guide & driver Michael we didn't have time to stop & take a look around or inside, however driving past the Mosque reminded me of a famous Mosque in Istanbul Turkey.

As we were not sure if we'd be able to enter the mosque, we just drove near by. It's beautiful building but spoiled a bit by great piles of dirt and billboards around it.

I was at the mosque for friday prayers with my family. It was a spacious and clean mosque and I would definitely like to visit again.

I was marveled when my eyes saw this beautiful, well designed fine art of a mosque. It made me wish I was a Muslim. It's very beautiful.

The Central Mosque is like the Grand Mosque present at various capital cities of Middle East. Looks like Top kapi inspired architecture interns of design with local artistry.
