You can book a group tour with a company in town of Morondava (forgot the name of tour company, it's near a beach away from downtown). There were 5 of us in a minivan. Part of the drive was over rivers where the van goes on a ferry. The ferry is usually a platform astride 2 pontoons with engines which... More

Tourists may reach Tsingy de Bemaraha only in limited period - from April till October, otherwise there is no road because of rains. This place is so unique that we planned our trip to Madagascar to see it. The way there was not boring, there were baobabs and ferry with locals.

It is not easy (and cheap) getting to the Tsingy....but once you are there it is absolutely worth it. Great place. The trip itself is interesting, as you come along little villages on the way and scenery with majestic baobabs. Our guide, Roberto (owner of Mada Tours) took care of every aspect of the trip which made it so enjoyable... More

We spent two days to do basically all tours that were possible - it takes a very long day from Morondova to get here, so we wanted to experience the Tsingy to the fullest. And it is well worth it. Both the big and small Tsingy are simply amazing. They consist of washed out limestone spines that can be seen... More

West tours is just famous in Madagascar, through the Tsiribihina river trip, and continue on visit of Tsingy. If you are looking for a quiet place, and beautiful nature, this one is made for you. Two days and half on canoe on Tsiribihina river, and next to Bekopaka for the Tsingy. And back to Morondava, along the way, stop at... More

Big Tsingy was beautiful - def worth the long drive from Tana. I must say that lots of reviews say how awful the roads are from Morondava to Bekopaka - I wouldn't say they are awful - it was what exactly what I was expecting knowing it is a dirt road and I wouldn't describe most of it as "awful".... Very hard place to get to, and you must enjoy hard hikes under difficult conditions to get to the desirable places, but the nature and the views are just spectacular.

This UNESCO world heritage site is definately worth the drive and is one of the most impressive sigths in Madagascar. The 4 hour tour is quite streneous and involves quite a lot of climbing and vertigo. A great combination of scenery and adventure

This is one of the most amazing landscapes and very worth a visit in Madagascar. We went three days doing different tours, one day in the big Tsingy (the most impressive part), and two in the "small" one. Nobody agreed on the age kids must be to get into the park, but it is nothing for small kids for sure.... More

When our guide stopped to pick up our harnesses I knew this would be no walk in the park! Be prepared for the 1.5 hour drive on 17km of appalling roads to reach the car park and having asked us how we were for heights and claustrophobia and he chose the slightly less difficult (cant imagine how difficult the other...
