It's an interesting place, very busy and very traditional. I was there on a Sunday, when the boats don't go out, so I guess it may look different on other days.

400-500ugia by share-taxi from centro. So fotogenic and interesting place as fish market, colorful boat, floating boat on the sea, people wearing traditional clothes of Mouritania or Senegal. ask taking a pictures in advance. mostly, they nicely accept.

This place is great for an afternoon out and some interesting views and scenery. A typical African fish poet and market but very enjoyable to visit.

Fascinating to see the designs and colors on the mass of long boats lined up on the beach. If you're lucky you'll witness one being launched or hauled in. The fish market is a beehive of activity and smells.
