Nice view but could not really see the water waterfall. If you staying in the north of the island; it's maybe not worth the trip to the south to see this waterfall.

Doesn’t quite live up to its billing compared to other waterfalls around the world. However, as part of a visit to Black gorge river and the course do earth, The is worth a visit.

Well, 2 relatively small waterfalls presented from one viewpoint. A couple of concise plates explaining some geology of the place (Thanks for that!). Plants where people carve writings on the leaves. Also a lot of mosquitos though

Our guide took us there late afternoon to avoid the crowds. Lovely waterfall and very green vegetation.

I went to chamarel waterfalls with my couple of friends during our training in Mauritius. The height of the waterfall is really big and the view is also really awesome.

Absolutely breathtaking waterfall, worth to visit! The nature is beautifull, especially when you go there before they close and all tourist gone, you can listen the sound of nature!

Hiya! I don't think that both these activities would take a whole day, but if you include travel from flic en flac then maybe it maybe a half day tour. Most of the sites which are on tripadvisor are in the south. Tour... More
