90m high The views are free (even if you don't want to pay for the entry to the coloured sands section) and on the way to the Chamarel Coloured Sands area. Two viewing areas - one on the level of the parking and another up some steps.

The view is basically from the picture. There are a ton of tourists and not a whole lot of space, but worth seeing.

The Chamarel Waterfall is a small waterfall but is pleasant to see as it is is surrounded with a vast expanse of greenery. People do not visit Mauritius specially for this waterfall but when there it is worth a visit because it is close to the place where they have the different coloured earth. Munir D.

As many others have commented there isn't much here but a short walk up to the viewing point presents a stunning vista of the Chamarel waterfall and across the Blank River Gorges national park.

Visiting the waterfall is combined when visiting the Seven Coloured Earth. It's beautiful and peaceful and there weren't too many people so we could get really good photo's. There are 2 viewing points from which to take photo's giving different perspectives.

Close to the 7 Sands Location this is a great place to stop off and take a few pictures. There is a low level viewing platform of for the more energetic you can climb up some fairly steep steps to the higher level platform and take your pictures from there. Worth the stop!

We hired a car on our honeymoon and stopped off at this waterfall. It is lovely to see but you are quite far away and can't get up close to it. Nice view point though.
