This was one of the best things we did in Mauritius. We got a speed boat ride (shared) with 5-6 other passengers (Total 10). The bay is famous for 2 types of dolphins - Bottlenose and Spinner. We saw spinner dolphins in the bay. There were lot of boats so the view used to get obstructed. If you know swimming,... More

We had an amazing swim with dolphins experience. For 2 hours a day a shoal of wild dolphins choose to come and 'play' with tourists in Tamarin Bay. From your boat you wait for the 'go, go,go!' shouts of the boat staff (one of whom was always in the water with us) and then jump in and swim like crazy... More

Lovely long and open beach area but parking is a bit of a problem, besides swimming with the dolphins, not much else to do if you looking for more. Swimming is great as well

It's an incredible experience to swim with the Dolphins in the open Indian Ocean. We went with a Boatman Called Gino, who and his team ensured that we had an once in a life time experience.

If ever anyone needs to get close to nature, this is the place. Swimming with dolphins is an experience I will never ever forget. Pure delight. Snorkeling afterwards is also a wonderfully experience. Thanks to the team at sands suit resort and spa for giving me and my life a lifetime memory.

Our daughter lives in Tamarin at present. Wonderful beach at La Preneus. Lovely long, flat beach to walk on.

Visiting Tamarin bay is offered by many agents, and it is worth looking for an option that would suit your needs. It is pretty busy island with many tourists, but offers great views of Mauritius.

Get on a boat to be able to see the mountains from the water. If you're lucky you'll see dolphins - but don't swim because they will probably have young with them. Snorkelling is ok on the reef but a little over-used. Benitier a great lunch spot.

We've just been on this trip, which was basically a speed boat trip to an island where you stayed with plenty of other boat trips having a barbecue for 3 hours. We asked about the Dolphins and they just said they were down south. They never tried to look for them or go down south just went straight to this... More
