Le Jardin de Pamplemousse is a must in Mauritius. It is well laid out and has an amazing - not necessarily indigenous - flora on show.

This garden is beautiful & very well kept by the staff members It is quite big You have the option for a guide (need to pay) or not. But you do not really need a guide as they give papers with map & some informations.

Really nice visit at this big botanical garden. Totally worth going there. Only I‘m sorry for the deer there as their place is far too small for that kind of species. Don‘t forget your moskito spray!!!

Excellent educational tour for young and old. Learn about origins of spice and stand amongst century old giants. The collection of trees and plants in the gardens is spectacular. Wear comfy shoes, take along water and your camera.

Visited botanical gardens with own car. There is free car park available, and I do recommend getting a guide at the entrance. Lovey gardens with tons of plants and trees to see and observe. Must trip if you find yourself in Mauritius.

My wife and i spent about 4 hours here on our recent trip to Mauritius. In contrast to some other reviews we found the gardens to be well tended and free of litter. There's a lot to see from flying foxes to the giant lily...More

Very large garden. Visited as part of a cruise shore excursion, so unfortunately given a very rushed tour of some of the garden highlights. Would have liked to have spent more time there. Stand out display are the giant water lillies.
