The general layout and the ideas used seem very nice but now are rather run down. It has a small railway but it was not running well that day. Hot during the day so take water. The restaurants are ok for food but look dted.
There is nothing great about this place. It is out of the way from Port Louis. Mostly a tourist will need to hire a taxi and taxi comes very expensive in Mauritius.
It is better to chose another place to visit.

With high hopes as being the best casino there were only few tables mostly of roulette and black jack. Only one table of Stud Poker . Very quiet no music no bling it was very very boring experience (
