I will say that this is a must see if you go there. The station is a very nice building and there is a lot of information about the history. The museum was unfortunately closed. Parking is a problem. Next time I will go with...More

Unfortunately the museum is closed on Mondays. Difficult to find parking. One guy makes it his business to park his car, when someone is looking for parking he moves it. Of course you pay. Think he charged M$300 but I said no more than M$150....More

I had a wonderful Saturday morning walk around Maputo and the highlight of the walk was the visit to the train station. The building itself is beautiful and very well maintained. There is an exhibit of old steam trains and black/white pictures of famous visitors...More

You can wander around the station for free and there is no need to go into the museum. It was cool and not crowded. The architecture is beautiful.

The museum is howesome. The full history of the Mozambican railways and communications from Telex to the phone, the importance of them to the country unique peaces of the history of Mozambique and the mothern world are there. The children and myself loved the visit.

This is such a beautiful station, sadly neglected. This station could and should be so much more. The power was off and potential clients could not pay with cards to access the museum

A beautiful train station, considered one of the 10 best in the world. Free to wander around, there is also a small museum inside.

This is worth a visit , it has been preserved or redone really nicely and is very peaceful compared to the city bustle outside it

Among the chaos of the Baixa this train station stands out. A true masterpiece of architecture, lovely contrast of green and white with the red of the sunset. It is a must see landmark.
