Beautifully restored building

A train station with not a lot of trains but this historic building has been beautifully restored and is well worth a brief visit and makes for some good photo opportunities.

A beautifully restored building that is impressive on the outside, but ordinary on the inside. 3 minutes is enough to see all there is to see.

Visited late afternoon on a Sunday when people were departing and arriving at the station which was great to experience. The exterior of the building is beautiful while the station itself is impressive too. I particularly loved the chalk board departure board. There is a small museum which I didn't visit as I didn't have much time. There is security... More

On our round trip in Maputo we went to the train central station , British style, is located on the center of downtown, you can feel how it was life here 100 years ago. Also is nice to see a photo collection on the central station.

Beautiful colonial train station - renovated. Really nice to walk around, there is a museum, bar/restaurant, just a nice place to pass by and spend some time to appreciate the architecture.

This is a must see if you are a train lover as the history about how the railroad industry was built up in Mozambique. The trains that's on display are also quite impressive as some have been restored to their former state.
