If you want peace and tranquility with the option to take some light recreation, fishing or snorkeling, this is the place to go. Great to go with some friends as the houses are big enough to share without invading personal space

This island is beautiful, peaceful, great for vacays, it's one of my fav destinations, the downside though is the lack of luxurious hotels at the centre, most of them are average! An island this beautiful deserves classy hotels for the full experience!

The excursion is great if you can rent a boat and share the expense, also if you choose a sunny and quiet day. The sea can be very rough, especially in the afternoon (try not to come back too late). It is not recommended for...More

Inhaca is a beautiful quiet and peaceful island across the bay form Maputo. It has a fancier hotel and some cheap alternatives. The beaches right on the docking port are not that fantastic, but the Portuguese Island (Ilha dos Portugueses) just 10 minutes away on...More

I can recommend firstly that more than 2 nights stay would be required. However chumfuta lodge is the place we stayed and was well worth it
