We were fortunate to be guided by Sura who was unfailingly patient, extremely knowledgeable about Rwanda, professional, polite and very attsntive to all of our needs. After an enlightening tour of Kigali we were whisked away to Volcanoes National Park and our charmingly quirky lodgings, Gorilla Mountain View Lodge, for a few days of gorilla trekking. The lodges were adorable,... More

We were lucky enough to be linked with Primate Safaris via our Australian travel agent and we thoroughly enjoyed our three day visit. Sam, our driver and guide was so friendly, happy and a great advocate of his country. He was helpful, knowledgeable and met any of our requests with no trouble. We were looked after from the moment we... More

Patrick, of Primate Safaris gave us excellent service. We were met at the airport, taken to a suitable hotel, given a city tour (including the Genocide Museum a sobering yet important visit) and then transported to the Volcanoes National Park for our Gorilla Trek. The service was efficient and professional. All transfers were on time and the guide's depth of... More

When we came out of the airport, driver guide was already waiting outside for us with our name. Brought us aside and went through the itinerary with us to confirmed that everything is as agreed when we booked our Mountain Gorilla tour. A very safe, friendly and talkative driver. Love it when the guide manage to get us into a... More

My family of five landed in Kigali, where we were introduced to our guide, Sura, who accompanied us the the next five days. There is so much I can say about this man, but I won't. All you need to know, is ask for Sura if you choose to book through this company. He was kind, patient, knowledgable, made any... More

We had a four day tour with Primate Safaris and was greeted by our driver guide Bernard at Kigali airport. He drove us to our Kigali hotel and explained everything about the tour and also details about Kigali and Rwanda. He then told us we were going to have a city tour the next morning before our drive to Volcanoes... More

Our tour operator arranged our Gorilla trek via Primate Safari. Excellent outfit Perhaps pitches itself as mid market cost wise , which is fine Used 10 year old Landcruiser which was in excellent condition and v comfortable. The trip to the gorillas is only 65 miles but when I tracked the journey on the way back it took 2.5 hrs... More

Primate Safaris provide reasonably priced gorilla trekking experiences within Rwanda. I had a number of questions prior to my trip and adjustments were made to the itinerary etc. I have used Primate Safaris twice now and feel comfortable that all will be as expected - you are met by rep and then have driver for the rest of the trip.... We went on a 6 Day tour and it was amazing!! Our driver was great, nothing was too much to ask! And the gorilla trekking was incredible. Best of all it was supporting a great anti-poaching and conservation project.

After a two day flight from the US to Rwanda we were very happy to be met by the staff of Primate Safaris and escorted to our Kigali hotel. We had a quick orientation to the city and our upcoming schedule and even got a recommendation for a Kigali pizza restaurant. Our guide, Simba, was an awesome teacher for us.... More
