Six local artists exhibit their art in this enjoyable centre. They also do workshops and teach (kids) classes in the small studio with the breathtaking view.

First of all this centre is open as at October 2016 - the website link on Trip Advisor shows that it has fallen out of use. Some art displayed with a number of paintings propped up against each other and no prices. We found this centre had the greatest variety of the three we visited

I am so glad that we opted to visit the Ivuka Arts Centre as part of our tour of Kigali. This vibrant art studio and gallery is shoehorned into a small neighborhood on a steep hill, and as soon as you enter the gate you are welcomed by colorful images. The center was founded about 10 years ago with a... More

My favorite thing about Ivuka is the PILES of art in the back rooms, that you can just flip through. It's really incredible.

Went to Ivuka a few years ago and found it teeming with different types of art, big selection and a few artists around..this trip I was pretty disappointed to find that the walls and selection were pretty sparse and the guy there was not helpful. Not sure what has changed in local artists/interest/community but not worth going back unless I... More

I stayed here for several nights (booked via Airbnb) Rooms: Comfortable and clean, with a fantastic host. Gallery: Really interesting, great to find a thriving local arts scene. Building: The whole environment is a work of art, with sculptures and paint abounding. Note: access is down some quite steep steps.

I went to Ivuka after visiting Inema Art Center, both are very close from each other. There are less things to see and do in Ivuka, comparing to Inema, but considering the distance between them it worth to spend one hour more and visit this center, specially to see the outside, which is very nice.

We found the Ivuka Arts Centre welcoming. The owner was helpful and very reasonable. Not only did we buy two small paintings to carry back on the plane, my friend commissioned a smaller painting of the one I purchased. I wish I had more wall space... Its my hope the artists in Kigali continue to receive local support and international... More

I was able to meet several of the artists in residence as they were working and I found this place to be very full of talent! It's small and intimate with friendly staff.
