Scrappy stretch of land where White and Blue Niles meet

Scramble along a stretch of wasteland to the promentary. Apparently abandoned play park. An ideal location which has been allowed to deteriorate. Fine views

I went to this point to see the difference of two niles but nothing understood from the ground. I visited there as a part of visit to Tuti island. I was happy to reach there, because many of the people of Khartoum never experienced going to this location, being a Bangladeshi I could go and see the place.

One would have thought this would be the highlight of Sudan, let alone Khartoum! But it's very difficult to detect from any spot, and the boats won't take you there naturally. So, really, the easiest way is to go to the Corinthia hotel and see it from above. One day, this will be promoted. "Khartoum, where the Niles and all... More

The place where the blue Nile meets the white Nile, forming the River Nile.. You can, actually, see the two rivers of different colors and levels of turbidity,, join each other in a large stream going north towards Egypt

This should be No. 1 attraction in Khartoum, but unfortunately it is totally neglected. The two white and blue Niles are wonderfully joining together and continue for a while with their different speeds and water colors until they finally merge downstream.

The confluence of the White Nile and the Blue Nile is an undervalued asset to Khartoum. It's a fascinating place where the two rivers meet and it's at the end of a small muddy path as if it doesn't exist. Such a shame!

The confluence of the Blue and White Nile carries with it so much history. Both from an explorers standpoint and an empire standpoint, history resonates here. Unfortunately, it is a bit difficult to discern the two different colors of the Niles from ground view. You also stand amidst private fields with debris and refuse. As with so much else in... More

The two rivers meet near a bridge, whose name I forgot. Apparently the two rivers are of different colors, but I could not distinguish between the two. After two passes on two different days, I gave up. That being said, the Nile is spectacular, and if you drive next to it in Omdurman, you will see farmers selling fruits and... More
