Lovely highlands with expansive vistas. On a rough dirt road about 5 kilometers from the cabins there is a lovely view. The park is not teeming with game, but I saw numerous blesbok antelope and some zebras and warthogs. Lovely, mountainous scenery. The cabins are inexpensive and perfectly comfortable. The food at the restaurant was good, too. Unfortunately, the restaurant... More

This reserve is not particularly scenic. The main reason to go is to see two famous waterfalls. The guidebooks don't tell you but it is at least a 3 hour hike to get a good view. If you don't mind hiking through rather listless surroudings, then go. But be prepared for rain and a muddy hike.

Went to Malolotja back in July and the ziplining was fantastic!!! I would highly recommend it and I would definitely do it again if I'm ever back in Swaziland. The guides were friendly and helpful, not to mention the stunning scenery.

Malolotja Nature Reserve and its canopy tour are a must-visit and experience if you are in Swaziland. The rolling landscape is amazing even at wintertime. The guides assured its breathtaking at spring and summer when the flora is thriving. But our best time is gliding through the treetops! The sight as you slide through the lush forest is beautiful. Our... More

An amazing, quite and beautiful park for hiking. We visited the park during winter, in July. The landscape was breathtaking, although a bit brownish and dry. We also had to deal with crazy weather which kept changing from warm-sunny to cold & windy every few hours. While we immensely enjoyed hiking, we felt we could have chosen a better time... More

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in two bugalows -9 people in all. The bungalows have two rooms each with a double bed in room with 3 x single beds in the other room (one bed is a bunk bed). 6 x People can sleep here comfortly. An additional single bed mattress is reachable by ladder from the... More

We spend the long weekend camping at Malolotja Nature Reserve with friends. All camp sites to have a water point, dustbin and braai facility. Although there is no electricity, the bathrooms is clean and do have hot water. The camp sites is reasonably level but do not have a lot of shade. Most of the camp sites is also more... More

The price was definitely the selling point for this pace as a weekend break destination. With this in mind, we didn’t expect much, and even took our own pillows expecting backpacker quality at best. We couldn’t have been more wrong! The beds were comfortable and clean with good quality white bedding, and if anything too many pillows. The cabin itself... More

My son and I went for zip lining here and it was awesome. The guides explained everything to us, the 4x4 drive seeing the animals, bums rocks and mountains was awesome. Going on 10 zip lined across the trees was wonderful. The hike up the mountain was a mission for me but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

It was a fantastic feeling to slide from one platform to another. They had 11 elevated forest platforms and 10 different slides. It's almost like flying in a tropical forest high up in the valley! The tour also contains a 50 meter long suspension bridge over the Majolomba river. It took us about 1 hour to do all 10 slides.... More
