Amazing reserve. Experienced rangers Taking you meters from Big 5 game. Accommodation is very comfortable and food is incredible. Rangers are very knowledgable and teach you from the smallest animals to the biggest. A must do for anyone visiting Swaziland.

Had I been told the facilities we were to stay in here by our travel agent before booking would not of dreamt of going. The camp is open and the rooms are all open to the elements and animals to me very scarey especially in the evening and during the night, saying that I slept well!. Did not like evening... More

I had a weekend to spare from work and booked myself into Mkhaya for 1 night, 1000-1600hrs. The rustic charm of the welcome and the Accomodation is refreshing, but remember to bring a torch and be prepared for no electric, no phone connection and sleeping under thatch with no windows. High end rustic. The rhino conservation is very good and... More

Had a wonderful experience of the "full day tour". We had a great guide, saw a great variety of animals including some amazing up close encounters with rhinos, giraffes, and others. We also enjoyed the lunch at Stone Camp which was included in the tour price. All in all a great day

I went to Mkhaya twice. Once as an ecovolunteer, a second as a guest fror my birthday (the same date as Swaziland's) The accomodation has every imaginable amenity for a reasonable price. Driving or walking safaris are cutomized for the guests interest. I really enjoyed an intimate one-on-one looking for birds

We stayed in a beehive open hut - a great experience. Had to be up early both days as we wanted to be on the 6.15am safari trips. Ladies come to wake you up with coffee. The guides and waiting staff were wonderful. I am so glad we stayed here. All meals are in the open air, but properly cooked... More

Great for wildlife as they get you VERY up close and personal to the animals. The game reserve itself is very basic and the food is not to western taste at all. Otherwise, great place! May be different now as I visited a few years ago.

We saw everything we had come for Rhino, hippo, giraffe, zebra and were in an open land rover, when we saw a tortoise moving relatively quickly. Ah the guide said when the tortoise moves like that we will have rain. We did that is life. Go there whatever the weather.

we spent 24 hours and was a great time. 3 car games and one game walk. The game walk was very impressive, we had to lie on the ground as some rhino went into our direction. We were looking to each other during 5 Min. I took wonderful picture even if my heart was beating a bit more than normally.... More
