It was very exciting to be in the real wild interacting with nature. The Lower Zambezi National Park is well preserved and has lots of animals. We saw lots of elephants, lions and other wildlife at close range. It was indeed an excellent experience. I will go back should an opportunity be available.

I love the Lower Zambezi National Park, I've been going here on and off for about 20 years now and always have fun. The fishing is great and you always see loads of animals - especially Elephants. A 4x4 is a must as you have to ford a river to get into the actual park. Not recommended during the rainy... More

In this park we saw a lot of animals, specially elephants. After every curve a lot of elephants were looking at us. We were also observed by the elephants while having lunch. We also came very close to a lion. The good thing with this park was that we came really close to the animals. Can really recommend this park... More

Went to check out a few properties in the Lower Zambezi for a couple of nights! The drive was not too bad, approximately 3 hours to Kiambi River Lodge, which is right next to Kanyembe Lodge. All properties have a river frontage which gives the place the serenity one needs when they are on holiday! Best place to go for... More

We stayed for 4 nights in Sausage Tree camp and had a great time. The Lower Zambezi River is a huge river even at the end of the dry season. The park offers the opportunity to do both land and water activities. Elephants and hippos were the main attractions.

for the 4th time we went for a safari, this time in Zambia. we have chosen two parks only but stay 7 nights in each of them: less transfer, knowing better the place and the people. we were in Kasaka in lower zambezi park. you have there walking safari, boat, canoe and of course landrover safari. the team was fantastic,... A great place to visit, especially the boat ride which takes you to either Zambia or Zimbabwe depending on where one is staying. The Hippos' are a great sight on the banks of the river, the crocs which laze around on the rocks, the massive Jumbos' that play around on the banks with the entire herd enjoying the water and...
