Hard to describe the trek to Jhomolari and Zoya Yaksa. The flowers, birds, people, and everything about the area is amazing. A life time adventure into the real Bhutan.

Jhomolhari peak is a sacred peak for the Bhutanese people and if you visit the chelela pass on a clear day, you can actually see this peak.

On a wonderful sunny day you could actually spot the Jumolhari mountain from Paro Drugyel Dzong. Further the best to spot the mountain is to go for Jumolhari Trek, where you will camp on the base of Jumolhari Mountain on the second night.

Having done quite a few trekking holidays, this particular trek is definately the most arduous. Despite timing the trek in supposed dry season, it was still extremely cold and wet causing the trek to be extremely muddy (the horses on the trek doesn't help) adding...More
