While most of the Eisenhower Museum was under new exhibit construction, the house was open for tours and one could visit the smaller exhibit at the library. Note, that you cannot tour the second floor of the Eisenhower home for safety reasons. Ike, his wife,...More

Until I studied his life, I didn't realize the enormous impact Eisenhower had on the world in the 20th century. The Library, Museum, and Boyhood home added so much to my appreciation of the man and his contributions to society. I was in awe how...More

The Eisenhower Presidential Library is located in his hometown and represents small town America. The museum covers Eisenhower's life including a large section on his military career. There are lots of things to see, including his boyhood home.

We arrived to late for library, and decided not to tour home, it’s only a 15 minute tour. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and small chapel the Eisenhowers are interred. So glad we stopped even though we were limited.

Even though the Museum is being renovated, the exhibits in the Library were excellent and I did not feel cheated in the least. They clearly made good solid plans for the renovation period and created exhibits that very well tell the story. Well done!
