We drove from Kollur to Shivmogga through a section of these ghats. It was raining and all the greenery and serenity made it a memorable drive. The variety of plants, birds and butterflies is amazing.

Western ghats are in the western part of india.This mountain range are very much in height .We are always crossing these ghats while coming to goa.Specially anmod,chorla ghats.These places are heaven , waterfalls,the greanary,small roads roadtrip are enjoyable here.

Personnally, all along the year ! Western Ghats are beautiful in all seasons, but particulary in monsoon time.
