A must visit if you are in Kathmandu. Bit far from the city though worth a visit. Some great views of the hills from the temple.

Budhannilkatha is a temple where you can see lord vishnu sleeping on Sesnag (snake). A good temple to visit in kathmandu. The temple is however small in size. being there with my brother in the month of june. A good place to visit.

There is a stone image of the Lord sleeping on a coil of serpents. In a small water body. There is a rudraksha tree in the complex.

A lovely and peaceful place. Must visit. Ask the locals about the story of its origin. There is a resort nearby as well - Park Village Resort which is also a great place to go for picnics or just to be away from the city for some peaceful time out.
