The city had temples, water fountains, stone roads, but now much of it is in rubble, after the earthquake. Still a good place to visit.

Sankhu is nice place it's main point to start trek to Nagarkot Dhulikhel .Unique locality and nice people.

unfortunately the village was almost entirely destroyed during the earthquake in '15. The people have since tried to clean up and rebuilding parts of the village. Nonetheless it's worth a visit, if you want to get away from the bustling Capital. About 45 minuted bus...More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our gentle trek into this village. The highlight was undoubtedly seeing a male and female red-billed blue magpie warding off all-comers as they strove to rescue their three babies who had fallen out of their nest.
