My reaction at first - "another history museum? No, thanks." I'm so glad I went! Tonnes of interesting information illustarted with old photographs. You don't have to read every capture, but try to find some details and funny comments.

The cave itself is nice but can get really crowded. And when it gets crowded, it becomes really hard to move inside the cave.

A very detailed history of the Gurkhas in both the British and other forces. Photos, medals, uniforms etc. etc. Tee shirts and badges at the shop. A must see if you are in Pokhara for any length of time.

You will be amazed to learn the Gurkha history and their ties with British army. Gurkha solders story is written all over the museum. Worth every moment spending here.

Loads of information to read. Museum is a bit 'old' - but still really interesting. Possible to skim read, and get a good history without reading everything. 100 rupees per foreigner for entrance fee. All displays on 3 levels.

In the UK we are all aware of the Gurkhas who have given amazing service to the British army over many years. This museum helps to give the visitor a full understanding of their valour and contribution. Well worth a visit.
