Beautiful, but would recommend to do hikes further east, same views, no crowds as I've heard.

Was there New Years day, not much of a sunrise with the sun behind the clouds and very cold, but... read more

A great place to get a view of the stunning mountains. The picture was taken at sunrise. Poon Hill is really a must see if you are in Pohkara.

I would say it is a must place to visit in order see the paranomic view of the annapurna mountain range. It is the best place to go for a short period of trek. 진짜 여긴 꼭 가셔야됩니다 짧게 제일 많은 것을 볼 수 있능곳입니당

If the weather permits, visit for sunset. Amazing views, longer golden hour compared to sunrise from what I hear, minus the crazy crowds. Deurali pass has similar views, but can be a good walk for sunrise/sunset from Ghorepani.

At an altitude of 3210m the view of Himalaya range is fantastic. Anapurna, Gualagiri and the Fish tail mountains are in front of you, full of beauty.

Poon Hill trek is a relatively easy trek in Nepal. I started from Nayapul to Tikhedunga and walked to Ulleri and then Ghorepani in the first and second day. There are some 3800 steps between Tikhedunga and Ulleri, it’s a bit difficult but not impossible...More
