The temple is accessible by boat..a beautiful ride by boat...the temple is an old temple..loved the architect...peaceful place..the only draw back was that the boat guy charged extra from the Indian tourists !! we took a shikara kind of boat n costed the four of us 600 nepali rupees..but found that more convenient and hassle free!

The temple is in the middle of the lake. Need to take a boat ride to reach the lake. Option is a shared boat which is far less expensive than the dedicated boat. Even if you decide to take a dedicated boat, check the rates put up on the board instead of when the boat man may tell you. Best... More

For a small fee, grab a boat to the island which has quite a small temple where we barely spent 10mins. Not very spectacular, but an activity that's cheap and easy.

I visited this Devi Temple on lake pokhara with my big family. We crossed the lake on a boat and landed on small island. My children were really excited but my wife scared of the water :) I suggest to everyone to visit the temples of pokhara lake city!

Nothing to see here. I walked past it twice without realizing it was the temple I was looking for. don't know why it's listed as something to see as it's just a tiny "temple" in the middle of the street and not even worth photographing.

It's mildly interesting to see a temple in the middle of a lake. If you're out for a boat ride anyway, may as well stop and take some pictures. Whether you should book a boat ride for the primary purpose of visiting Barahi depends on how into temples you are.

This temple is just across from the Phewa lake. One can hire a boat at the entrance of the lake to go to this temple. Its a religious site,.

It's a small temple a few minutes boat ride from the shore. It's a nice enough spot to sit and read a book with a bit of breeze on your face but, honestly, there's very little to see unless the place holds a specific religious interest for you.

Taking time at sunset to stroll through the courtyard and take in the views, I found very serene. The "priests in training" were curious and enjoyed taking pictures before the mantras began. I was welcomed to participate and guides what to do.
