There are three ways to access the temple. The easiest is by taxi from Pokhara, or by crossing Fewa lake by boat and then taking a short 45 minute trial, or for the adventurous take a longer trail that starts from the Fewa lake dam...More

It took an hour for us by row boat to get to the World Peace Pagoda. It’s very pleasant when you disembark, you can stop for a drink before hiking up. Takes about 1 hour to walk up and the Pagoda is beautiful. Well worth...More

I would recommend taxi up although there are still 400+ steps when you reach the top of the road, and then the (good) path down to the lakeside, plus boat trip back to Pokhara. A very good excursion.

You see a lot along the way. The clouds and fogs/mists flowing along. Great view of the Pokhara city, mountains and a few tea houses for those who have the time.

It’s the whole experience. Going with the boat, the hiking up the hill -wear good shoes!- , on the way down we ate lunch with view on lake and Pokhara.

Indeed a peaceful place. There are quite a few steps to get there, but the few of Phewa lake and the city is totally worth it.

Its a temple on a hill. The wiev though and the nearby coffeeshop is worth the effort. Go by scooter or car. Or if you want a little 2 hour trek, get a boat across the lake and walk up there
