Peace Pagoda or Temple is near Pokhara city. By car it takes around 30 minutes if you find road empty and without any traffic jam. We tried going to this place in noon but we have to come back mid way as there was huge traffic jam for people going uphill to see peace temple. Do note that you will... More

A must visit place while in Pokhara. The Peace Pagoda is located at the top of a hill and going up there by car/taxi is already an adventure itself. From Pokhara Lakeside Rd., it will take 25-30 minutes drive on a long and winding road. Once you reach the car park, you have to climb the stairs going up. Hundreds... More

The World Peace Temple is must see mostly because of its location. I could see the white temple from afar from where the hotel I was staying at. It is a little outside the city, not very far and about 15 mins drive out and up a small hill. And you need to walk for about 10 minutes uphill which... More

First time I hiked up there. Really enjoyed the views and encounters along the way. Do heed the advice to travel in groups and females perhaps with a male as there have been sexual assaults reported the path. Second time we bussed up there. Gorgeous sunset views.

Visited the temple and the hundreds of steps were well worth taking to look at the magnificent views of the surrounds. There are numerous small cafes along the climb up.Take your camera.

This is one of the many world peace pagodas and it does not fail to impress. We took the easier option to the temple-car then walk rather than the hike up from the lake. Take you time to walk around the stupa then find a cool spot to reflect on its' beauty. Great views of the lake and Pokhara are... More

This place is another must visit spot in Pokhara. You the the entire view of Pokhara, the lake and the Annapurna Range on a clear day. The temple in itself is a very peaceful spot to just sit and take in the beauty around. Do visit.
