The zoo is clean and well maintained, cheap entrance fee, huge animal collection, their penguins are my favorite, don't miss it.

Take MRT Taipei Zoo. You stop by and buy ticket. It's quite huge for a city zoo. It homes many species from many continents. The ambient and its arrangement are worth visiting.

The zoo is not very well maintained. Compared to the Zoos in western countries, or even in Tokyo or Singapore, this is a comparatively low end zoo. can be visited if you have kids and nothing else to do. easily accessible from the metro.

If you like zoos then this is a must visit. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours here. The highlight is The Giant Panda's. We were lucky enough to see them feeding. The grounds cover a wide area, so a lot of walking. There are different areas for different continents and species.

This place will have something all will enjoy. Because it's government operated, prices are not all all jacked up, in fact, it's down right cheap. The entrance fee which can be paid via Easycard is only about $2. You can also rent a stroller (also only a few buck) while you are there (it can recline, have storage basket and... More

My boyfriend and I decided to visit the zoo on a whim because we had nothing left in our itinerary, and I'm glad to say it was one of the best decisions we made this trip. The Zoo was huge and housed all sorts of animals, some which were not available at the Singapore Zoo. The enclosures were were very... More

best part about this zoo was the pandas. If they did not have pandas I would not have gone. It is cheap as well. So that is nice.

Today I went with my friend to the Taipei Zoo. I am usually not such a fan of zoos since many of those I visited were not so nice. Additionally, the weather was not so great too; it was cold and rainy. My first impression appeared to confirm my reservation: Some of the animals close to the entrance were not... More
