We liked the place with all its little studios and art galleries. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a cool place for taking pictures! It's a neighbourhood with lots of stairs and hidden corners so we just loved to wander around.

The place with its half-ruined concrete buildings is quite peculiar. There are a number of galleries and the village has an interesting athmosphere. It's worth spending there an hour.

Generally nice as a safe place for casual stroll and photo-taking, for youth, family and international visitors. Some places were closed, it's hard for art lovers to enjoy the exhibitions in slow pace in dim and little rooms especially with the weekend crowds.

I'd imagine this place is great for sunny summer evenings (since it's located near the river and has a smaller park there). But in honesty- I thought there was going to be more and therefore I was let down once I arrived. I didn't know...More

It was a Wednesday I visited and the place was almost deserted. I think i met the above reviewer on the same day and share some sentiments. Very quiet and only 1 exhibit on. I was lucky and met one artist. I think it might...More

Very unique setting, online articles said this is a government rebuilt project that turned old decrepit housing into an artist commune. Looks like Brazilian favela minus the violence. I thought it was quite well designed and organized, lots of signs telling you where the artists/houses...More

Artists were very welcoming and showed us their work in their workshop. We had a great time here. I would really recommend going here! Better art then at the creative park.

Very few artists were open on a Thursday. We enjoyed the walk but went for the art and saw very very little. We would go back but only on a weekend.

I have been to Taipei for a few times, I planned for an artsy cultural trip this time round. I typed 'art Taipei' in Google and found this place. It was not an easy find, and not near a metro station at all, but it...More

I went in October and there weren't many artists out there, or some of them were not open to public. Interesting place to see still, but don't expect it to be flushed with art and artists, that was my experience. Good luck.
