Its a small temple in Di Hua st.if not for the smoke from incense and people praying at the kong you will not notice that the temple is there. This may be a small temple but its rich with history and relevance in the Taoist faith. Another treat to visiting this temple are the Taoist shops across the street where... More

A small, almost missable temple that apparently attracts a lot of single people (and there were certainly a number of young ladies there). The temple is dedicated to Cupid, who (it is told), while remaining in an upright position, will grant you a good marriage. This particular temple is also known to have the highest density of deities in Taiwan,... More

Quite a busy small temple. Not in the prettiest of locations but it is easy to find.and not too far from several night markets. I would make a special trip to see this temple but worth a look if you are passing by.

This is a small, beautiful temple to the City God and many lesser gods who promise peace to all who visit the city. Some of the smaller gods are revered for uniting lovers and bringing good fortune in business. Have some free "Blessing Tea" outside, and visit the interesting internal alcoves. Located on the interesting and historic Dihua Street. (Just... More

As far as I understand this is a quite important temple for Taiwanese, however it really is a small one (you can easily miss it while strolling through Dihua street). Worth a quick look though as it is nicely decorated and... watch the young people praying in front of the god who's is promising a partner in life, maybe you'll... More
