So glad we took time to see this beautiful park. Spring blossoms were just blooming during out visit. It is a wonderful chance to be up close with flora and fauna that is typical to only this area. It was also fun to observe how local people enjoyed the park.

This is a lovely park, easily accessible by public transport !! We got to catch some beautiful cherry blossoms !! The volcanic geysers were beautiful .. There are signboards on how to get around, but those boards can get quite difficult to locate !

The national park offers many hiking trails ranging from beginner to experienced. We went on a 3 hour hike and were gifted with wonderful views... More

This is a must do when in Taipei. It is easily accessible by public transport. The trail is nice to walk as the park is beautiful, quiet and the air is fresh.

We hired a cab to bring us up to Yangmingshan to save ourselves some time and hassle of transferring (their 小巴 small bus, literal translation) comes every other 40-60mins, so really, you wouldn't want to be caught waiting for the next after missing one. It's the Calla lilies season and the entire field is filled with it! On closer look... More

Yangmingshan is a total must for nature lovers! I regret not spending even a full day here but our parents are kind of old and cannot do much hiking. But it's definitely on my to do list for my next solo trip! Going to the park is easy. Just take bus R5 or 260 from Jiantan metro station(red line). After... More

Warning: it is likely you'll get pooped in this place as there are so many things to do, mountain trail hike one of them. I went to Yangminshan in the morning to try out the hiking trail toward Mt. Qixing. I started at Lengshuikeng then reached the main peak then trekked again toward Miaopou trail for the Yanmingshan visitor's center.... More

This is a good half day or more activity. We took buses to get to the Park and then buses within the park. The Flower Gardens and the views of the volcanic activity at the top of the mountains were well worth the visit. There are also excellent views of Taipei in the distance. There could have been much more... More

The park is big but many trails are accessible and good for a hike. Photo shoots are of the Flower Garden and the volcanic geysers. We did not plan to climb the seven stars hill although heard lots about it as a tiring activity.
