Nice walk

If you have time after your visit at National Museum. Walk around the park, it's nice and peaceful. You can see people walk around with their pets or just to relax.

Nice park to visit if you're in Taipei. There's always a lot of people here which might not be very peaceful but I still think it's worth a visit. If you're unsure whether to visit this place or the CKS memorial hall and you're short on time- take the CKS!

When walking around this amazing, underrated, city, 228 Park is a perfect place to sit down and take a rest. It is just a five-minute walk from the main railway station Inside the park are the 228 Museum, and the National Taiwan Museum, both worth a visit.

I was surprised to find this park was so close to my hotel during my recent stay. The peacefulness of the park belies the somber history for which it was dedicated. The 228 Massacre was a terrible tragedy in Taiwan's history and there is a small building dedicated to commemorating the victims. This is a nice park to stroll through... More

We went through this park on the way to see the Presidential Office. Nothing much to see here. But do try the stone foot path and find out how many steps you can make.

It is a rare patch of green but it is also a compact park with a lot of history and well worth a visit. There are various memorials and a pond and average garden.

228 is best in the evening when the sky is orange. The bustle of the city can be heard while you sit on a park bench with a Starbucks coffee and observe your surroundings. You will hear buses and scooters full of people leaving behind a long day of work or school, and enjoy the wafting fragrance of dinners wafting... More

Nice park, just a few steps from the busy streets. Metro station is also not far, so if you need a piece of nature this is good place to come...
