This combined bike and boat tour pn the 15th of January was the best thing I did in Bangkok. It starts with a tour through China town, passes by a nice but rather unknown temple and then goes outside of Bangkok to areas where you´d normally not go, continuing by boat. We had amazing guides (thank you Tammy and Nancy!!)... More

We chose to go on this tour after a personal recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The bikes were pretty good although hard to steer due to curved handlebars. We did a three hour tour and covered Chinatown, the flower market, a Buddhist temple and crossed the river on a ferry. Drinks and a few snacks were provided. Pecks our guide... More

We took a 5 hour boat trip and it was a great experience - from the moment when you get to their office and get a smile and a warm and friendly welcome and up until you leave. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and truly do their best for guests to get the best experience possible. They offer... More

We took a 3 hour cycling tour on January the 15th. 2 friends of ours had booked the tour already and we wanted to join them so we send the an email asking to be put in the same group. They did as we asked. We booked the 3 hour tour at 8 am because of the heat. The pace... More

I really loved this tour! The guides know a lot and it gives you such a complete picture of Bangkok its beaten tracks. Lunch was amazing as well. One of the best tours I went on during my Asian getaway.

Do the rocket boat tour!! That's all I can say. Fantastic afternoon spent rocketing down the rover and side canals around Bangkok. Felt like we got a real insight into Bangkok village life away from the tourist hoards and tack. The only drawback is the river and waterways tend to be a little....dirty? So the splashback as you rocket over... More

Dear Germaphobe :), Thank you so much for your great review. Very glad to hear you enjoyed rocketing down the Real Bangkok! The water in the canals is not particuluarly ... drinkable, but this is part of the charme of Bangkok let's say! Thanks again for your review and happy to welcome you back on your next trip to Bangkok! More

This was the highlight of our trip to Bangkok! Our guide was so sweet and nice, and the bikes were in good condition. Riding through the markets and the streets was a little scary but once you get to outside the city it is really amazing! Make sure you take sunglasses and a hat since the sun is pretty overwhelming... More

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
