I understand why there was so many negative comments from other travellers about this market. It is true that the ticket was quite expensive (around 2000 baht per boat for +- 1 hour experience) and the item price in the market was also expensive. However,...More

We had a really good time but I think that's because we were still drunk. It's just a tatty market really and I can't remember being overly thrilled by this trip. We waited ages to get going and everyone else we passed looked fairly bored....More

We took a taxi from our hotel and it took about 45 min. We got there around 11am, I would suggest the earlier the better, less crowds and less heat. There was a fee for the boat tour at the floating market-I don't remember... More

If you have a driver, he should know where it is located. There are not many floating markets close to Bangkok. The Thai name is: ตลิ่งชันตลาดน้ำวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์
