It is not my kind of place to see as it is full of people trying to make money out of you. Big long walking streets which can be accessible through BTS Asok or Nana. Better avoid as Bangkok had better places to shop and to see.

Located near Asok BTS, you can find this place easily by its crowd and lights. Perhaps there are 15-25 bars in this street, some of them offer live music and some of them offer sexy dance :). The atmosphere of this street was amazing. I only visited Bacarra Bar on the end of the road, the entry was free and... More

Soi Cowboy rates up with the Patpong and Nana Plaza red light districts as being the go to places in Bangkok for go go bars, but Soi Cowboy has a more relaxed feel and you are less likely to feel harassed here than at the other two. History has it that the street (Soi) that is now known as Soi... More

After being told by family, friends and business associates to visit soi cowboy and nana plaza we decided to do some research. Many people had commented about both districts but that soi Cowboy is less "in your face". Given that we're on our honeymoon, we were apprehensive but though we should have a look. Anyone else in this situation, go... More

Given the reputation Bangkok has with prostitution, we thought this place was a failed attempt to pretend it doesn't exist, and that everyone is here just to have innocent fun. You find a lot of middle age men and half naked girls and ladyboys being used as bait... the area around is very lively though.

Gone are the days where tourist traps are rampant. Brought my girlfriend to experience their red light district as it's her first visit to Bangkok. I'm pleasantly surprised to find police at both ends of the soi. Lots of female tourists.

Not at all enjoyable compare to Pattaya and Phuket. Very short street with 30-35 go-go bars. If you have specific purpose ... you may visit. All well maintained bars with nice welcoming girl outside the bars ... ! Drinks are cheap here... no traps-no cheating. You may chose the girl you like but little expensive. After visiting Pattaya walking street... More

A friend and I visited for a tacky night out in March and we weren't disappointed. Drinks are fairly cheap at most bars and if you're not offended by half-naked Thai women you'll be fine; just don't walk down this soi if you're expecting a cultural experience 😊

One of the famous spots from the hangover movie, and the last pretty Go-Go street left, even if you don't want to stay for a drink the lights make for a great photo

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
