We went there with my teenager kids and they loved it. The tickets were 2500 bath which is expensive for Bangkok but it was worth it. They take care of you and show you your seats. You are just next to the ring and they give you coupon for drink and hotdog. We were lucky to seat next to a... More

First time at a Muay Thai boxing match. The stadium is good size, excellent seats (ring side) pass on the free hot dog. Fighters started with youngest to oldest and 1st round seemed to be a "size up" round. Real fighting didn't happen until the second or third round. Pretty exciting entertainment and the crowd was incredible, betting, cheering, yelling,... More

A wonderful experience to watch muay thai, especially with the cheering crowd. Wasn't too pleased with the promoter who waits near the ticketing booth and hard sell to foreigners to get the ring side tickets. Was told the 2nd (middle) tier level is a 'standing only' area (found out it's not true after i went in with a ring side... More

I watched some muay thai fightings in Chiang Mai, but that was more like a tourist trap, although there were some interesting fights. Having seen a `touristist` one, I decided to see a `real` one on Bangkok, in one of the most respected stadiums, which is Rajadamnern. When I told the taxi that I was going there, he dialed a... A good and exciting night out. Watching the locals betting is as fun as the fights. DO NOT bother with buying VIP ringside seats before you go. Everyone will tell you that you have to because that's where Foreigners sit and that everywhere else is standing. This is rubbish. AND you can buy your tickets on the door. 2nd tier is... More

visited 19-Mar We are not boxing fans, but decided to go to a night of Muay Thai Boxing for a uniquely Thai experience. We chose the Ratchadamnoen Stadium due to the significance of it being the oldest Boxing Stadium in Thailand. We decided to go all the way with the VIP ringside seats, and arriving about half an hour before... More

Such a great night out, bought ringside tickets from our hotel for 2500 baht each and got a cab to the stadium. Make sure u get ring side seats, the tickets come with a soft drink and hotdog, and if u get there at 6 you can have photos taken with the boxers. The atmosphere is electric and like nothing... Or if you're really feeling brave, go in the cages at the back with the local gamblers and ruffians. Ringside seats really are the best at this stadium and you are guaranteed an awesome night of brutal Muay Thai matches from 15 feet away. This stadium is IMO, the best one in Thailand because of it's ambiance—the moody lighting, the... More

As in my review of Lumpinee, this is a place I have waited OVER a decade to attend and experience. It EXCEEDED my expectations. I bought my ticket in advance off the stadium's website (did not want to take any sort of chances buying day of), I was seated in the 2nd row with a incredible view of the ring... More
