Pratunam is a Thailand's largest wholesale/retail clothes market on Ratchaprarop Road. The prices are very good and the inside market is not really aimed at tourists, it is aimed at small local retailers who can buy their goods there for resale. The outside market is aimed at tourists and the prices are higher. A tourist can buy at the inside market which shows prices and pricing is straightforward and low. They sometimes offer discounts linked to volume, so buying more items may get you a small discount on the marked price. I like to go there to buy clothes which are much better value there than in the tourist markets.

Cheap buys ranging from THB50 and above. There are shops in the building winding in a spiral, then there are more outside along the streets. Most are wholesale where it gets cheaper when you buy more, but sometimes even for single piece, the prices are cheap too. Don't expect quality. Toilets in the building are decent (a little dim but reasonably clean), doesn't provide toilet paper though. Crowded, not for the claustrophobic.

this market is so big that you can lost on it. The clothes are very cheap and is very good quality. That's why I'm not surprised when it is so crowded and congested with shoppers. The only thing is that it's too traffic to get there and I was a bit lost and it was at the end of the day so it was very tiring but when I get there just fine because I get to buy some really affordable clothes that I can bring home. This is highly recommended especially if you're buying wholesale.

Normal bustling outdoor market, with better deals compared to the malls around it such as Platinum or Palladium malls. Highly recommended to go. Good number of shops selling Muslimah clothing as well.
